Description

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in the B2C / Secondary Ticketing market, located in Dallas, Texas. This role is critical in supporting both our production and development environments. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for building, supporting, and maintaining our LAMP stack environments. You will also be tasked with implementing robust monitoring and backup solutions, supporting engineering teams with integrations and releases, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry security standards.

Responsibilities:

• Build and support production and staging environments running LAMP stack on CentOS Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP using Ansible or comparable configuration management technology.

• Develop and maintain robust monitoring and backup solutions.

• Implement new monitoring and scaling solutions for mission-critical services.

• Provide support to Engineering teams for upcoming integrations and production releases.

• Perform routine updates, security audits, and vulnerability scanning.

• Respond to, triage, and escalate security-related events as per policy.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and security industry standards.

• Automate routine activities, preferably using Ansible. Familiarity with PHP/Python is highly desirable.

• Plan, design, implement, secure, and monitor scalable infrastructure for web applications.

• Maintain a strong understanding of IT Security best practices and apply them to secure production infrastructure.Si

Requirements • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Proven experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry

• Proficient knowledge of DevOps methodologies and principles

• Strong technical skills in Ansible, Python, and PHP Python

• Experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
