JOB SUMMARY: Manages the office and provides administrative and management support to department. Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides consistent customer service when staff is reduced for fluctuating causes. Retrieves and processes e-Citations (traffic) and civil cases that are electronically field which includes generating a Fee Officers Report. Responds to telephone calls by answering inquiries and/or directing to proper person. Preserves and reestablishes the capacity to function effectively should a disaster or emergency disrupt operations of the Court. Prepares and submits reports to Office of Court Administration, Texas Electronic Registrar, Texas Department of Public Safety, OMNI and Fort Bend Countys Court Collections Program. Maintains and monitors budget expenditures and assists in budget preparation, enters budget in computer system and submits to Budget Office. Provides administrative and clerical support including typing correspondence, memos, reports and documents. Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED. 3 years general office experience. Strong computer and typing skills. Strong reading, reasoning and comprehension skills as well as good verbal and written communication and organization skills. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with the public, elected officials and other employees. SALARY RANGE: $19.71 - $24.63 hourly based on qualifications All full-time and part-time employees are members of the Texas County District Retirement System (TCDRS).
