The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for an Alcohol Compliance Supervisors to join our team at Petco Park in San Diego, California.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of operation are compliant with state, federal, and local alcohol laws, along with company and location-specific alcohol procedures.

$35.00 - $45.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members serving alcohol and alcohol compliance team

• Ensure employees serving alcohol are adhering to the alcohol service policy, ensuring responsible alcohol service.

• Observe and document any alcohol-related issues.

• Verify that all team members serving alcohol have signed an acknowledgment of the alcohol policy and have a valid serving permit prior to the beginning of work

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, preventing theft, and minimizing waste/spoilage

• Assist with alcohol cut-off

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Available to work home games that include days, nights, weekends, and some holidays

• Ability to provide feedback and coaching to associates with varied experience levels.

• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

• Depending on the state and local laws, the position may require a valid, unexpired alcohol pourer's permit

• Ability to provide feedback and coaching to team members with varied experience levels

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• No college degree required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, including walking up and downstairs and lifting as the work duties demand.

• May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending on the season.
