CP Skin Health Group is looking for a Marketing Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, engagement, and credibility for the #1 Derm Recommended Professional Sunscreen brand, EltaMD Skin Care by using the power of social media, influencer marketing and impactful PR and brand partnership initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms to build and cultivate substantial interactions of our online community of over 500K+ followers across multiple social platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and driving integrated marketing campaigns, as well as have an understanding of PR strategies to improve brand visibility and reputation.

Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:

  • Lead all aspects of social media, influencer and public relations functions to build brand advocacy

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and agencies to manage integrated campaigns

  • Social Media:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to align with overall marketing and brand objectives.

  • Supervise brand presence on brand’s owned social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube and LinkedIn), ensuring consistent branding, tone of voice and messaging

  • Lead the production of high-quality, engaging content across social media platforms, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics, tailored to each platform's audience and standard processes.

  • Influencer Marketing:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive influencer marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.

  • Build and manage influencer marketing campaigns from conceptualization to execution, including content briefs, timelines, and performance tracking.

  • Identify and research potential influencers and content creators across various social media platforms who align with our brand values, target audience, and campaign objectives.

  • Build and cultivate relationships with influencers, negotiating partnerships, and securing collaborations that result in compelling and authentic content.

  • Public Relations and Brand Partnerships:

  • Lead PR strategy for brand to generate positive media coverage and improve brand reputation across traditional and digital media channels.

  • Oversee the creation of engaging PR materials, including press releases, media kits, and pitches, to communicate key brand messages and announcements effectively.

  • Supervise industry trends, competitive landscape, and social media conversations to find opportunities for brand partnerships, influencer collaborations, and PR initiatives.

  • Lead PR events, brand partnerships and activations to build awareness and generate buzz for the brand

  • Manage social media and PR agency relationships to align output to brand objectives

  • Diagnostics and reporting for press, partnership, influencer and social metrics to optimize and improve performance

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years previous experience in social media and/or influencer marketing

  • Proficient in the use of social media analytics tools (Facebook and Instagram Insights, Tiktok Insights and Analytics, bit.ly, Google Analytics, Emplifi etc)

  • Has experience with influencer costs, pricing factors, and negotiation strategies and analytics related to the selection and evaluation of suitable influencers to meet campaign objectives, including influencer tiers and verticals

Preferred Skills:

  • MBA

  • Experience and knowledge of various marketing channels, the intersection of earned, owned, and paid media and has worked on cross-functional teams

  • Experience managing B2C brand social or creator channels with 100K+ followers

  • Demonstrates exceptional analytical skills and knowledgeable about social media algorithms, trends, and best practices across various platforms

  • Experience working on high-level content strategy and hands-on production tasks with extreme attention to detail

  • Exceptional writing, copy editing, and project management skills

  • Experience in public relations and sponsorship management is a plus

  • Experience in CPG specifically in skincare, beauty or health verticals is a plus

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic workplace, showcasing adaptability and resilience

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $91,000.00 - $120,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.

  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements

  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually

  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually

  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year

  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
