Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a diligent and meticulous Senior Accountant (Remote). This role is primarily concerned with fund accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, asset management, and bank transactions within the real estate development industry. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in Yardi and Voyager to streamline accounting processes and facilitate tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for various entities and joint ventures

• Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to management for decision-making purposes

• Oversee the consolidation process for multiple entities and joint ventures, and prepare consolidated financial statements and related disclosures

• Monitor the financial performance of assets under management and conduct financial analysis to assess asset profitability

• Collaborate with asset managers to optimize asset performance and maximize returns

• Manage bank accounts, including reconciliations and cash flow forecasting

• Monitor and analyze bank transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Initiate and oversee fund transfers and wire transactions as necessary

• Apply fund accounting principles to manage financial activities related to property investments

• Maintain accurate records of investment transactions and performance metrics

• Utilize Yardi software to streamline accounting processes and facilitate property management tasks

• Leverage Yardi modules for financial reporting, budgeting, and lease management.

Requirements

• Must possess expertise in Bank Reconciliations.

• Proficient in General Ledger management.

• Should have strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Yardi.

• Experience in Fund Accounting is essential.

• Familiarity with Yardi software is required.

• Should have a solid understanding of Consolidation Processes.

• Experience in handling Consolidations is crucial.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a high-paced work environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred.

• Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
